AIM: aim study was analyzing activity test leaf toothpaste (Vitex pinnata) against growth Streptococcus mutans bacteria. METHODS: This type laboratory experimental research (true design) with post-test only control group design. conducted at Poltekkes Pharmacy Laboratory Ministry Health in Aceh July-August. sample consisted leaves collected randomly Ie Seu Um Geothermal area Selawah Agam Besar. Data analysis carried out descriptively. Antibacterial data were statistically processed one-way ANOVA confidence level α 0.05.
